Step 1. Download Skype 2.2 rpm package
wget http://download.skype.com/linux/skype-2.2.0.35-fedora.i586.rpm
Step 2. Install Skype using command
rpm –Uhv skype-2.2.0.35-fedora.i586.rpm
You will see output similar to this one below
