Dropbox is a popular online file sharing and storage. You can store your data online, access them from anywhere and also link multiple computers and devices to work with dropbox. For Fedora 15 users, you can easily install and configure dropbox with your system. The tutorial below will describes how to install dropbox on Fedora 15.
You may register or create free dropbox account from this link if you do not have it already. Dropbox is available for Windows, Linux distributioan as well.
How to install dropbox on Fedora 15:
Step 1. Download dropbox for Fedora (rpm) from this link. Alternatively you can open Terminal and use this command below to download and install Dropbox from Terminal.
sudo rpm -Uhv http://www.dropbox.com/download?dl=packages/nautilus-dropbox-0.6.9-1.fedora.i386.rpm
Then open Dropbox via Activities | Application and search for Dropbox.
Step 2. Dropbox will need to download and install dropbox daemon. if you see this message, press OK to download the daemon.
Step 3. Wait until download and installation process is finished. You can then connect Dropbox account to your computer.
